Short Session

Yesterday's 4-8 hold'em game was a trip. The Oasis casino was almost empty and only one game was in progress in the poker room and three people on the waiting list.

When my name was called I took a short $60.00 buy-in, as I only intended to play for a brief time. Lady Luck smiled on me and I was dealt pocket aces on my first two hands and took down nice pots. I doubled my money in five minutes!! Great!! I continued playing for about six hours and see-sawed back and forth between winning and losing, until I ran out of steam. I decided to go home and cashed out a $15.00 loser. So much for a brief poker session!!
