Mucho Poker

With the Oasis Open Tournament in full swing, I haven't had much time to update this blog. I've played four tournaments in three days, with only a modicum of success and no earnings. In the four matches (both no limit and limit Texas hold'em, I've placed 19th, 78th, 82nd, and 83rd, respectively. Collectively the winner's share of these contests is about $20,000. Would've been nice to be in the money, but I'm happy with my play, aside from a few mistakes and brain farts. Simply, It's difficult to wend one's way through 200 plus excellent players and win one of these events. A combination of good cards, luck and skill are required. I'm playing another limit hold'em event in about three hours. There's two more days of the tournament following today, so all is not lost yet. After the whole shebang is over, I'll write my analysis of my play and share some ideas that will improve my poker in the future. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I'm an excellent Monday morning quarterback!! :-)
